This last weekend we knocked something off of our Michigan bucket list and visited the Detroit International Auto Show. We saw a lot of cool cars like the Hummer HX shown here. Mini had a DJ, there was a lot of neat technology, and they even had games and rides for the kids. Hybrids and biofuel were king this year.
By noon the crowds were too big, and the kids were auto showed out. But we had a great time.
某天和中文學校校長吃飯時提到我們家今年要去看底特律的汽車展，他說他在公司有抽到２張汽車展的票，問我們要不要．我們確定他家人都不需要票之後很高興的收了這２張票．小朋友是免費的．我們就想說來個２日假期吧．趁著禮拜一放假，我們在星期天準備行李，高高興興的出發．先去旅館再決定午餐要吃什麼好了，旅館的小姐介紹我們去吃烤肉，哇，好大的一盤哦，吃不完的放在車裡也不會壞掉因為外面是攝氏零下５度再加上刮大風，夠冷了．睡個午覺再帶小朋友去看電影．今天先安撫他們然後明天要乖乖的因為爸爸明天要看車子．
一進場才發現會場裡有好多好多新車，漂亮的妹妹站在旁邊介紹新車．很家廠商會分發袋子及手術讓觀眾帶回家．小兄弟倆甚至排隊坐在賽車上玩電動玩具．後來真的是人擠人，煒勳也累了，我們就打道回府．這是我們第一次參觀底特律有名的車展，總算完成了密西根必須要去的地方其中一項了．

It's about time the auto industry revisited fuel economy. Though the hummer pictured - while cool to look at - isn't exactly the model for fuel efficiency. Sounds like a fun day, up until the crowds part anyway.
